What We Learned at PioneerRx Connect

The 2022 Connect annual conference was PioneerRx’s biggest show ever. RxSafe’s booth had a ton of traffic, coming in a steady stream for all three days of the tradeshow, which took place June 17-19 in Nashville, Tenn.

Key Takeaways from Connect 2022

Here are some key takeaways from the education sessions.

1. Med Sync: we’ve gone from recognizing there’s a powerful “business case” for medication synchronization, to accepting it’s finally time to learn how to leverage med sync for as many patients as possible, integrating it into everyday pharmacy workflows.
2. Managing change is critical for pharmacies everywhere. The post-pandemic landscape has fundamentally altered the game for independent drugstores. “It is now or never,” said Jeff Key, President of PioneerRx, at the Connect 2022 General Session.
3. Marketing is a mindset. Kelly Goldsmith, Professor of Marketing at Vanderbilt University. Goldsmith shared data and research from the Covid-19 outbreak to explain evolving consumer psychology and how to employ these insights use to boost your business – and business model.
